Palm Kernel comes from the kernels of the palm nut. Similar in properties to coconut oil. It makes a hard bar of soap with a good lather. The flakes make it much easier to get from a container and measure, as Palm Kernel Oil is "rock hard." (flakes may settle during shipment- all pails are filled to the 4 pound weight)
